Deeply Rooted Grounds is a ministry to children and families living in extreme poverty in Nicaragua. The nonprofit organization gives after-school educational and mentoring care daily to hundreds of children. The ministry serves 9,000 children daily through a community center and 44 local churches in the form of food, nutrition counseling and supervision, family support, and gospel teaching. Only $30 per month feeds and provides quality care for one child. $500 per month provides a full-time position to a trained adult caregiver in either of the programs.
